Who knows that one hallway photo could provide so much benefit. I met Tia Phillips last year at Youmacon. I took a photo of her in her very lovely Sailor Moon cosplay. She is probably one of the most sweetest person who I ever had the opportunity to come across.
When I announced that I was going to Ohaycon 2014 in Columbus, Ohio she was one of the first individuals who contacted me, wanting to book a photo shoot. And of course we shot her Sailor Moon costume. Along one of her friends we had a great photo shoot. Her and her friend came to shoot with some great ideas poses and of course I had a few of my own.
Unknown to me at the time she is also had a another very interesting cosplay. This one was Chii from Chobits. I only found out about this when after viewing images from another fellow cosplay photographer. I moved quickly to set up a major studio photo shoot. This was my first studio cosplay shoot. The shoot took place almost exactly a month after I returned home from Ohaycon.
At this shoot we also shot her Panty&Stocking cosplay and also her Ceil (Lady) from Black Butler cosplay. The great thing about this shoot was that she recruited her father was a professional videographer to film the shoot and my uncle who is a veteran professional photographer was shooting for well over the last 30 years not only consultant, but allow those uses studio to do the photo shoot. Along with my buddy from JustGeraldMedia we completed a six-hour photo shoot. The results were epic.
After that awesome photo shoot Tia then contacted me regarding Shutocon 2014. She wanted her new cosplay to be photographed. This time she had Tinkerbell as her costume which look absolutely lovely on her. Just like all the other photo shoots that I had done with her she was there open-minded and energetic.
Working with Tia Phillips this year has been an absolute joy. She is an example of the type of clients that I enjoy working with the most. Open-minded and ready to have fun every time I point the camera in their direction.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
